For researchers — the research-to-market bridge
Good research shouldn't stall for lack of a commercial partner.
If you're a scientist, a lab, or part of a university or institute with biotech or agri-biotech work that hasn't yet found a commercial path — unlicensed IP, a result waiting for a founder to build around it, a technology proven at the bench but not beyond it — tell us about it. This is the specific gap the Government of India's own BIO-NIVESH initiative names as central to its mission, and it's the one we spend the most effort on.
Who this is for
- University and institute labs (including ICAR and CSIR-affiliated groups) with unlicensed or under-licensed biotech/agri-biotech IP
- Individual researchers with a result they believe has commercial potential
- DBT-funded research groups looking for a path from grant to product
What we ask upfront
Tell us plainly what stage the work is at and what IP protection (if any) exists. We'll be equally plain back: any introduction we make comes with a recommendation to formalise IP and credit arrangements in writing before real collaboration starts — we facilitate the connection, we don't broker the deal.
